Freeman White is a social entrepreneur who democratizes access to capital. He has been building software companies focused on fundraising and financial technology since 2010 and is currently the director of software product management at Spruce Finance, helping homeowners access financing for the installation of solar systems and energy efficiency upgrades. Before Spruce, he cofounded Launcht.com and Fig.co. Launcht enables nonprofits and universities to run their own crowdfunding sites; Fig is a publishing platform that empowers fans to crowdfund and invest in video games. Freeman advised U.S. Senate staff on the financial regulations that became Title III of the 2012 JOBS Act. He was a founding executive board member of CFIRA.org and is a proud alum of Middlebury College.
