Financial Aid and Scholarships

At this time we have exhausted our financial aid funds for our summer 2017 program.

If you require financial aid assistance for MiddCORE we strongly encourage you to seek other funding sources or to reapply for our Nov. 15th deadline next year for the following summer’s program, as funding often gets exhausted in our earlier application rounds.

Middlebury students on financial aid will be eligible for financial aid for the summer program as funds permit. Funding does run out, and so we encourage students who need financial aid to apply as soon as possible. Financial aid information will be included in the student’s admissions decision letter. Students from other institutions are encouraged to inquire about funding opportunities at their home institutions. In addition, there are a limited number of scholarships awarded to outstanding students with demonstrated financial need. Interviews for these scholarships are set up with students once they are accepted to MiddCORE.

For International Students

Non-U.S. citizens must have a valid U.S. visa status that allows full-time study during the dates of the MiddCORE program to be eligible to apply. (Please note: Students cannot participate in our program with a tourist visa status (B-1/B-2) or through the Visa Waiver Program (ESTA) because neither allows for full-time study.)

U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents are eligible to attend.

International students who already have F-1 student status from a U.S. college or university that they attend during the academic year may apply to MiddCORE as long as they will maintain their F-1 status throughout the dates of the MiddCORE summer session.

Middlebury College is currently seeking authorization to issue visa documents to be able to bring international students from outside the U.S. to our MiddCORE at Sierra Nevada program for the summer of 2018. Unfortunately we are unable to issue visa documents for our Summer 2017 program.
